Cheng Wai Keung

Chairman and Managing Director

Mr Cheng Wai Keung was appointed to the Board of Wing Tai Holdings Limited in 1973 and plays a pivotal role in the growth and success of the Group’s business. A highly regarded leader in the public and private sectors, Mr Cheng concurrently serves as Deputy Chairman of global investment company Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited and Chairman of Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd. He is also Vice-Chairman of the Singapore-Suzhou Township Development Pte Ltd and a Director of MOH Holdings Pte Ltd and Kidney Dialysis Foundation Limited.

Mr Cheng received the Distinguished Service Order (DUBC) from the Singapore government in August 2007, the Public Service Star (Bar) (BBM-Lintang) in 1997 and the Public Service Star (BBM) in 1987.

Edmund Cheng Wai Wing

Deputy Chairman and Deputy Managing Director

Mr Edmund Cheng was appointed to the Board of Wing Tai Holdings Limited in 1981 and was instrumental to the successful diversification of the Group’s core business from garment manufacturing to real estate development in Asia.

Mr Cheng is concurrently the Chairman of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Singapore Art Museum and the Yellow Ribbon Fund Main Committee.

For his contributions to the labour movement in Singapore, Mr Cheng was conferred the Medal of Commendation (Gold) Award at the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) May Day Awards 2022. In 2021, he was accorded the Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant contributions to Singapore’s built environment and community.

Mr Cheng was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in 2015, the Public Service Star (Bar) in 2010 and the Public Service Star (BBM) in 1999 by the Singapore government.

In 2009, he was conferred the title “Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres” by the government of the Republic of France. In addition, he received Singapore’s Outstanding Contribution to Tourism Award in 2002.

Cheng Man Tak

Non-Executive Director

A prominent figure in Hong Kong’s garment industry, Mr Cheng Man Tak has served as a Non-Executive Director in Wing Tai Holdings Limited for over 40 years.

He currently sits on the board of Kato (Hong Kong) Holdings Limited, which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. He also serves in many organisations and associations in Hong Kong, including Chairman of Clothing Industry Training Authority and Federation of Hong Kong Industries – Group 24 (Woven Garments and other Woven Made-Up Goods) as well as President of Federation of Hong Kong Garment Manufacturers.

Eric Ang Teik Lim

Lead Independent Director

Mr Eric Ang was appointed Lead Independent Director of Wing Tai Holdings Limited on 31 December 2021. A veteran in Singapore’s banking and capital markets as well as a career banker for about four decades, Mr Ang was the Senior Executive Advisor at DBS Group up till 2020.

He currently sits on the boards of Raffles Medical Group Ltd and Surbana Jurong Pte Ltd.

In a career spanning four decades with HSBC, Mr Guy Daniel Harvey-Samuel was the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Singapore up till 2017.

Mr Harvey-Samuel is currently Chairman of Capella Hotel Group Pte Ltd and also sits on the boards of Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd and M1 Limited.

Tan Hwee Bin

Ms Tan Hwee Bin is an Executive Director of Wing Tai Holdings Limited since 2008.

Ms Tan serves on the boards of Singapore Labour Foundation, NTUC Enterprise Co-operative Limited and NTUC FairPrice Co-operative Limited. She is also Chairman of the Centre For Seniors and the Honorary Treasurer of the Singapore National Employers Federation.

Ms Tan was awarded the Public Service Medal (PBM) and the Public Service Star (BBM) by the Singapore government in 2011 and 2018 respectively. In 2018, she was presented the Meritorious Service Award by the National Trade Union Congress.
